The concept originates from vessels developed for commercial use, so that working hard is their normal operational condition. This project blends in with all the other yachts on the fleet, in order to offer an alternative way to cruise when the owner already has a superyacht and needs to have a second yacht to carry all his toys, tenders, helicopters, submarines, extra staff and reserve crew members. The yacht can be equipped and designed to host also the owner and his guests, if he desires to stay onboard.
With a stern area 224 squared meters wide, the new RSY 55m Supply Vessel concept has enough space available for both the helicopter touch-and-go platform and to accomodate all water toys you may want to carry with you. Where to, is up to you: her steel and aluminium keel it provides safe navigation in difficult seas together with unmatched comfort and efficiency when cruising.
Spacious outside, wider within: together with the owner’s suite the new RSY 55M Support Vessel hosts 2 double rooms for your guests. And there’s more: the space dedicated to the crew can easily accomodate up up to 14 members. Low hydrodynamic resistance, aluminium and composite materials for the top deck, all combined with calibrated weight distribution and a low centre of gravity are her key-factor in reducing motion and increasing comfort under way.
