"I wanted to create an original exterior profile, distinguished by clean, essential lines that eliminate superfluous elements to achieve a truly timeless design.” Giovanni Ceccarelli, a life-long sailor and naval engineer, loves to start with a sketch when he envisions a new design for a shipyard or an owner.
The 35m Explorer concept features steel and aluminium combined for maximum comfort and efficiency. The shape of the steel hull provides low hydrodynamic resistance, while the aluminium superstructure and composite materials ensure optimal weight distribution and a low centre of gravity, which reduces motion and increases comfort under way.
The interior layout proposes an owner’s stateroom on the upper deck, full height windows for a 180° view, leading to a private patio. A spacious salon and dining area are positioned on the main deck and the forward galley can be accessed directly from the crew quarters. Four en suite cabins provide comfortable accommodation for 8 guests on the lower deck.
